Linkkazi ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Chrome extension ("Linkkazi" or "the Extension").
The short version: We don't collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data to our servers. Your settings stay on your device, and text you ask a suggestion for goes only to the AI provider you chose.
Information We Do NOT Collect
Linkkazi does not collect or send us:
- Your LinkedIn credentials or login information
- Your LinkedIn posts, messages, or connections (text you ask a suggestion for goes only to your chosen AI provider)
- Your browsing history or activity on other websites
- Personal identifiable information (name, email, etc.), except the email you give us if you buy a license
- Any data to external servers owned by us
Information Stored Locally
Linkkazi stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. This data never leaves your browser:
- User Preferences: Your filter interests, regions, feed options, daily goal, pacing settings and comment personalization (role, tone, voice and sample comments)
- API Keys: Your Google Gemini, OpenAI and/or DeepSeek API key (stored in Chrome's local storage)
- Usage Statistics: Local analytics like posts viewed, comments made, and AI suggestions used (for your personal dashboard only)
- License Key: If you bought Lifetime, your license key is stored locally
- Comment History: The posts you commented on and the text of your recent comments, used for Follow-ups, your daily goal and the repetition check
Third-Party Services
AI providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI, DeepSeek)
When you click Suggest Comment, AI Suggest, AI Reply or AI Draft, the text needed for that suggestion (the post, the comment you're replying to, or the recent messages in that conversation) and your writing preferences are sent directly from your browser to the AI provider you chose, using your own API key. Nothing is sent until you click. We do not have access to your API key or the content of your requests.

Payments
If you buy a Lifetime license, the payment is handled by our payment provider. We receive your email address and order details so we can send and support your license key. We never see your full card details.
Linkkazi operates on LinkedIn's website to enhance your experience. We do not access, collect, or store any data from your LinkedIn account. All interactions happen locally in your browser.
Data Security
Since all data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage mechanisms, your information is protected by your device's security and Chrome's built-in protections.
We recommend:
- Using a strong password for your device
- Keeping your Chrome browser updated
- Not sharing your AI API key or license key with others
Your Rights
You have complete control over your data:
- Access: View your stored data anytime through the extension settings
- Deletion: Clear all stored data by removing the extension from Chrome
- Modification: Update your preferences at any time through the extension popup
Children's Privacy
Linkkazi is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
